Well, this was frantic for nothing. I woke up this morning thinking today was the end of the month and started the full measurement process, only to realise that I had another week to go. The good news is that I know how my measurements are tracking for next week, I just need to keep them up my sleeve until then.

This week was a small loss of 0.3kg. I am happy with it after last weeks outlier measurement of 2.1kg, any loss is a win. Looking back at the last 4 weeks I have had -2.1kg, +0.2kg, -2.1kg and -0.3kg. While haphazard, still resulted in an average of just of 1kg per week lost. Considering I have been doing this for 34 weeks, still being able to average numbers like that is unexpected. I am also happy that i have not had a bounce back with the return of exercise or post illness.

This week was good, being back and healthy. I was able to get in cross trainer time again and my diet is now looking after itself. I really don't have to consciously think about what or when I am eating. Just staying the course.

Well, i think i have another outlier week. I weighed in at 129.5kg this morning (down 2.1kg on last week).

On one hand, i am very happy to have a 12 in front of my weight, something that has not occurred in at least the last 12 years. On the other i feel it is just a very fortunate weigh in post illness and being away for work most of this week. Next week will re-balance things i feel.

The last work trip i had planned on being better prepared with meals etc, however that didn't happen. I tracked my meals through the 3 days away, and my calorie intake was not significantly low, however i still get the feeling that i was not as well balanced with my intake as I could have been. I did get up and go walking each day to maintain some level of exercise as well as remained mobile throughout my work days, so there was that plus.

There was a work function on the Wednesday night where i avoided drinking too much (one beer) and i planned my meals for the day to remove any temptation with the pizzas that were offered. Personally i think i got through that quite well.

Looking forward, i think i am finally clear of any illnesses and am able to get back to normal this week on food and exercise.

Well, my prediction last week of my weigh in being an outlier was correct. I ended up being 0.2kg up on last week, however i think that better reflects a managed weight loss.

This week we had a 3 day break in the greater west, spent mostly walking around attractions, bushland and mines, it was quite an active break. I was still feeling a little lethargic after the last couple of weeks of illness, however got through it the best i could. My appetite was low and i kept to the healthier options for main meals (no snacks) and kept my fluids up. All in all, i think i managed my diet well while away.

The downside, come Tuesday afternoon my body wanted to switch off and sleep. I ended up sleeping for the entire day Wednesday and half the day Thursday as my body needed to rest and get better. Of course, being a Murphy i had to double down and it appears that I must have brushed past a plant that i am highly allergic to as my lower legs broke out in painful welts and rashes. Friday ended up being a day of tests and checks (with my history of embolisms), which thankfully came up clear. Now it is Sunday (2 days later than i usually blog) and i am finally well enough to get up and be coherent (I hope) on a computer.

The big test for me will be going to Canberra this week while trying to treat my blood condition and trying to not be impacted by the allergens known to be down there. Wish me luck.
